Thanks and Puzzle Arcade Lite v1.1
I'm giving the final touches to an update that will comprise new features, improvements and fixes:
- Smoother and improved controls - I've incremented the sensitivity and added a guiding light that will tell you where the piece will go.
- Bigger and more dangerous enemies.
- Removed some transitions between levels, replaced by dialogs to increase the agility of the game.
- Added a continue option at the end of the game.
- Increased performance and less use of memory.
- Minor bug fixes.
The X-Arcade Factor
You can play the Unplugged mode, if you only want the puzzles but in the arcade mode you will much more:
- It's a complete 3x3 puzzle, not "hole on it".
- The pieces can be moved all around the board.
- At the beginning there is only one piece available as the pieces are requested by the player
- Several AI´s or enemies that will try to stop your progress, stealing the pieces and returning them to the "sky" also reducing the timer in five seconds
- A final stage boss AI (every 3 levels) that will appear once the board it's completed. The goal here is to protect the board/puzzle for one minute or more keeping a number of pieces on the board.
- Several objects than can be destroyed to obtain points, extra time...
- Bombs that can be used to hit the enemy, pieces, objects etc... The bombs can be used to your advantage for instance removing pieces that are in a wrong or difficult place.
- Can be played using different tactics: defensive, trying to complete the puzzle protecting the pieces - hitting on the protects them for some time or just moving then, or aggressive using the bombs to stop the enemy or destroy him.

Puzzle Arcade Lite - A word or two about it..
To get a piece just hit twice over the board - left part - and a random piece will fall from the "sky". When it touches the board you can move it horizontally or vertically - using drag and drop. Note that you can not go over other pieces or objects or any other obstacle. If the piece falls in the green recycle bin on the right, the piece will be back to "the sky" and you will be penalised with 5 seconds. Sometimes this can play in your advantage to keep a piece out of your way. Use it wisely.

Welcome to the blog - PuzzleArcade Lite
Puzzle Arcade Lite is the free trial version of the soon-to-be-launched indy game Puzzle Arcade. Download P.A. Lite if you are looking for a highly addictive game, an exhilarating cross between Arcade and puzzle games! We designed P.A. Lite thinking on extreme gameability.
This trial version offers access to 3 different levels per package:
- World Package: with different locations for around the world
- Mix Package: landscapes, paintings, etc
- Random: it generates different levels, combining the World and Mix Packages.
Handle the objects showing up on the screen while completing the puzzle, and defend your puzzle pieces at the end of level 3 from the Evil Boss.
Pieces will fall from the sky, touching twice over the board. Once on the board, drag and drop (horizontally or vertically) to the desired position. Even though the board is 3x3, pieces can be moved further to the right for easier placement. Check the pieces against the full puzzle on the thumbnail (right of the screen)
The E.B. will try to crush all your efforts to meet your time deadline by stealing your pieces. Decide which strategy will be best for your Boss: defensive (clicking on the piece before he touches it) or offensive, trying to destroy him throwing bombs.
If you think that this is all too difficult, build only your puzzles against time at the Unplugged mode.
- 2 difficulty levels
- Controls: touch, and drag and drop.
